Have you ever been with a ginger guy? If not, maybe you should. For those who may not know, “ginger” the affectionate name given to someone with red hair. And in this post, we’re going to talk all about ginger guys!
The inspiration for this piece came to me upon reflection of the many ginger guys I’ve met over the years. With locks of red hair framed by a stunning smile, many of them left me speechless.
But here’s the thing – ginger guys often get a bum rap. Much of this can be traced to stereotypes; things that are simply untrue. Examples include guys with red hair having small peens or being bad in bed.
It’s complete non-sense, not grounded in science or frankly anything empirical. None the less, the rumors continue. What is backed up by research is this: 1-2% of the human population have red hair.
That’s why I’m fond of the book, Red Hot 100, which helps to highlight the hotness of ginger guys while pictorially dousing water on the myths.

This one is simple. Ginger guys have super-hot beards that actually match the hair on their head. What’s more, they’re great for whisker burns!

3. They’re Not Tiny
Contrary to urban myth, red headed men aren’t universally small. According to research, ginger men are like most men when it comes to size, meaning it varies. Anecdotally, if you’ve seen a ginger guy, think about his size. Was he tiny?
4. Fun Sense of Humor
Because some people like to make fun of ginger guys, they’re used to taking pot shots. As a result, many of them have developed an amazing sense of humor.

Because ginger guys tend to have light skin, they are more prone to freckles due to hyperpigmentation. But that doesn’t mean freckles are bad. In fact, some ginger guys look extra hot with them!

After years of being bullied at school for being different than their non-redheaded counterparts, ginger guys have learned to stand tall because they know who they are. Simply put, they won’t put up with other people’s crap.

As mentioned earlier, we think only 1-2% of the global population has red locks of hair. And only .05 – 1% are men. That factoid makes ginger guys unique. And whenever someone is “different”, they often get criticized. Currently, we don’t have a number on gay or bisexual ginger guys. But it’s fair to say these beautiful men are even more unique.

Because they've been on the receiving end of “otherness”, ginger guys know what it’s like to be ostracized. In turn, many have developed a sense of compassion and empathy for others.

For reasons we don’t fully understand, people with red hair experience pain differently. There’s some research to suggest they have a higher pain threshold. This makes them strong. Who doesn’t want that kind of guy attached to their arm?

The next time you are servicing a ginger guy, take a moment to look up and glance into his eyes. You’ll never forget the experience – that’s a promise.

Somewhat of a stereotype but in my experience, many ginger guys are versatile. This could be because these men have learned to go with the flow and adapt to whatever circumstances they encounter.

Search your memories and think about the red headed men you’ve encountered. Have any of them been arrogant? Did they come off as stuck up? Thought so.
21. Devilishly Charming
It’s just part of their personality. When in the presence of a ginger guy, note their ability to magically pull you in with their charm. It’s almost uncanny how they can do this!

Put a bearded ginger guy in a pair of jeans and a flannel and take note of your reaction. That’s because red headed guys make for perfect lumbersexuals.

Guys with red hair are simply beautiful. There’s no other way to put it. They just are.
