Cooling his heels in at the Bristol County House of Corrections, former NFL super-star Aaron Hernandez faces yet another round of murder charges after first being arrested in 2012 for the killing of Odin Lloyd.
Known as inmate number 174594, Hernandez lives in a 7-foot-by-10-foot single cell that he locked into for 21-hours a day. His professional reputation is now in tatters – a far cry from halcyon days gone by when the New England Patriot’s tight was a celebrated sports icon and major sex symbol.
“His life has completely changed from what he knew just a few years ago,” says Chicago therapist Dr. John Moore – a counselor who works with well known sports players and celebrities. “This kind of change is not easy,” he concludes.
The public seems fixated on Hernandez, eager to learn the latest regarding his rumored criminal past. Some have described him as the ultimate “bad boy” because of his “gangsta” persona, which paradoxically has elevated him to new heights.
Blogs across the Internet engage in ongoing speculation about is alleged involvement in various crimes and there are more than a few groupies on social media who romanticize him.
Hernandez has even received love letters from adoring followers who seem to be totally captivated by him.

Aaron Michael Hernandez is a former New England Patriots tight end who is currently facing multiple charges of murder in the first degree for a series of alleged killings.
He played football in college at the University of Florida, where he won several awards, including the coveted 2009 “All American”. During the fourth round of the 2010 draft, Hernandez was selected by the Patriots.
According to published reports, Aaron Hernandez has been dating Shayanna Jenkins since 2007. The two have a daughter named Avielle Janelle. In September of 2013, Jenkins was indicted by a grand jury in connection with the murder of Mr. Odin Lloyd.
On May 15, 2014, the Suffolk District Attorney's office announced new murder charges against Hernandez in the killing of two Boston men in 2012.
