Former Model Stabbed A Man
A former model is potentially facing prison time for life for stabbing a man he met on a gay dating app.
In April, Pennyslvania resident David Haigh traveled to Brooklyn in order to meet James Johnson. The two met through the online dating app Jack’d.
It's currently unknown how long the two had been talking to each other on the app. That said, it must have been significant enough for Haigh to travel to see Johnson.
Then one weekend, 42-year-old Haigh was hanging out with 41-year-old Johnson. That eventually led to the two men going back to Johnson’s Fort Green apartment for what can only be imaged a consensual hook up.
From there, there story gets hazy but what the investigation can confirm is at some point Haigh felt threatened. That fear led to him eventually stabbing Johnson in his chest and body.

As a motion filed by David Haigh’s defense attorney, Thomas Andrykovitz, in order to request bail states, “An unnamed victim indicated that what started out as a consensual encounter with Johnson quickly turned into a nightmare.”
It was then that information came to light that James Johnson was under investigation for sexual assault at the time that he initially met up with David Haigh.
That said, while surely the defendant’s team will use that information as part of his defense, the former model is still going to go through court for the murder of James Johnson.
In that vain, prosecutors have currently charged Haigh with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
If David Haigh ends ups getting convicted for his alleged crimes of the former model stabbed a man, he could face anywhere from 25 years to the rest of his life in prison.
