Marc Jacobs Just Proposed Via Flashmob In Chipotle

Marc proposed to his boyfriend of two years / underwear model Charly ‘Char’ Defrancesco

When it comes to considering marriage proposal ideas, the way you pop the question should reflect both you and your partner's personalities. This is an amazing and exciting time in any relationship, so try to make it fun.

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs literally nailed it!

Marc is known for his creativity and extra-ness. Remember that time he built a giant pink house as the centerpiece of his SS15 show?

Well, his extra-ness carried over into his personal life too. When it came to proposing to long-term boyfriend Charly ‘Char’ DeFrancesco, it wasn’t a simple affair; Jacobs went all out.

On a romantic trip to Chipotle, the designer arranged for a flashmob to dance to Prince’s “Kiss” in the middle of a Chipotle restaurant – popular Mexican-inspired fast-food chain, before getting down on one knee and asking tattooed hunk DeFrancesco to marry him.

The crowd then turned to cheers as Charly didn’t hesitate in saying yes and the loved-up couple sealed their proposal with a kiss.

The designer posted a video of the cute proposal on Instagram.

He writes in the caption, “And this happened…”Charly Defrancesco will you marry me”? #flashmobatchipotle #moves THANK YOU, everyone, for making this happen video @plural_nyc @laurengerrie @[email protected] And to my Ride or Die fiancé @chardefrancesco I LOVE YOU❤”

The post has been liked more than 56,300 times, with fans writing congratulatory messages to the couple and praising Jacobs for his creative choice of proposal method.

Defrancesco posted the same video to his Instagram and wrote, “GET READY FOR THE ALL TIME GAG!!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.”

And if the day wasn't extra enough already, it also happened to be Defrancesco's birthday, which Jacobs celebrated with a photo on his Instagram:
