Get ready, because Club Cumming is coming your way…. Yes, we just said that.
Turns out, acclaimed actor Alan Cumming has decided that he wants to open up a club in his name.
Right now, Club Cumming is scheduled to open up on September 15 in New York City’s East Village. And when it does open it’ll be a big event with several planned programs such as guest DJs, performers, dancers, and themed party nights.
Events are scheduled for the entire week following the opening such as a night program called Femme which will be “a gender-fluid dance party.” Another will be“Bette, Bathhouse, and Beyond,” a party where guests can only wear towels.

But as salacious and sexual as that last night sounds, Cumming has also assured others that there will be a wide variety of events offered at the venue. For instance, there will be “out-of-the-box” book clubs and piano music nights.
At a time when gay clubs and spots are disappearing, it’s nice to know when a new spot is opening up. In addition, it’s also good to know that it’s owner is not only a well-recognized advocate for diversity and inclusion but that he intends for the club to be the same.
Alan Cumming is quote for saying Club Cumming will be, “a home for everyone of all ages, all genders, all sexualities, who all enjoy letting go and making some mischief.”
