Well, it’s time to finally give in men. Sparkling water is here to stay. We might as well find ways to work with it.
Several years ago, we saw the rise of some flavored water and then after it flavored carbonated water. But it wasn’t until the late 2000s to mid-2010s that we saw the trend become a mainstream mainstay. That fact’s thanks to several brands like La Croix and Perrier becoming popular with the millennial and Gen Z generations.
But now that these drinks are here to stay, what should we do with them? What’s the use of sparkling water (flavored or otherwise), according to Men’s Health? If you want a few tips on how to spice up your drinks and diet with seltzer and more, check out the few ideas we’ve provided below.
Alcohol
Adding sparkling water to alcohol is a game-changer. Trust us. Whenever you make your next cocktail at home or at a party, consider adding some seltzer to it. First off, it adds water to your drink. Yes, that may sound offensive to some of you, but hear us out. This ultimately protects you from getting fall on your butt drunk. Plus, the carbonation of the sparkling water will add texture to your drink. And if it’s a flavored drink, you’re adding flavor too.
Juice
But what if you don’t want something alcoholic? Can the same be said about applying sparking water to juice? Yes, absolutely! Add seltzer, sparkling water, carbonated water, or whatever else you want to call it to your juice. For instance, add it to orange juice and make an orange spritzer. Add some extra fun to your drink of choice and see what it does to the experience.

Homemade Soda
Or perhaps you want to go the healthy route. Well, going with sparkling water is a great way to do this. You can use non-alcoholic cocktails made from sparkling/carbonated water as substitutes for soda. Who knows how many, or what, chemicals go into popular sodas nowadays. Instead, makes alternatives like Blood Orange Italian sodas, Blueberry Mint Sparklers, Watermelon Agua Fresca, Pineapple Mint Punch, and more.

This includes relieving stomach ache and constipation, hydrating the body, or decreasing the risk for heart disease.
