Threatening To Kill Grindr User & A University Cop?
A Milwaukee man is under arrest after he was caught threatening to kill Grindr user and a University police officer.
25-year-old Preston V. Ellison was arrested on September 25 after he ran his mouth too much.
According to a police report and the Journal Sentinel:
Ellison used Grindr to talk to and meet up with other gay men. One conversation got very heated after Ellison was turned down for having sex. He then threatened to rape and shoot the man on the other end. That man happened to be a housing staff member at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Afterwards, the college employee reached out to police about the threat and Officer Marco Verdiguel was sent to meet the victim. When Verdiguel reached Sandburg Residence Hall at 3400 N. Maryland Ave to meet up with the threatened man, Ellison sent another message.

“I see u in that office with the cops,” he wrote before threatening to shoot the officer in the head.
The victim then quickly described Ellison’s appearance and Verdiguel searched video surveillance. Officers quickly found Ellison around East Locust Street and arrested him on charges of making a threat to a law enforcement officer and making a computer message threat.
While in police custody, Ellison said that he wasn’t being serious, but just speaking in anger. He told officers that he didn’t plan to kill anyone, but was trying to scare the Grindr user. He also thought that he wouldn’t get caught.
Preston V. Ellison is now awaiting his punishment.
