On weekends, it’s easier just to do a news roundup as opposed to a bunch of stories. I’m just being real with you because I’m on the news-desk this fine Spring evening.
In this quick update, I’ll share with you the buzz on a yummy Olympic Diver named Robert Páez – a stud who recently came out of the closet.
We’ll then move on to a horrible anti-trans bill that was defeated in Alaska (yay!) Finally, I’ll touch upon some yummy things happening with Chris Hemsworth’s beard.
Robert Páez
Let’s first take a look at Mr. Robert Páez. He’s a 23-year old Venezuelan Olympic diver who penned a powerful editorial for the folks at Out Sports.
I won’t repeat verbatim everything he said but I DO encourage you to read what he wrote.
In short, his personal journey is one that many can relate to. And yes, the guy is ridiculously hot. But in the final analysis, that’s not what is important. I
Instead, it’s about his personal story – and the inspiration he gives to LGBTQ people everywhere.

Anti-Trans Bill Defeated
You may not have known this but there was a nasty, horrible anti-trans bathroom bill under consideration in Anchorage Alaska. You read that right – Anchorage.
It was called Proposition 1 and it would have required that any person in Anchorage’s public spaces use the restrooms or locker rooms that matched the gender of that individual assigned at birth.
If passed, “Prop 1” would have made illegal transgender and non-binary people from using the facilities they felt most comfortable with. Thankfully, that nonsense didn’t pass!
Per a report in the Anchorage Daily News, approximately 77,000 people voted 53-47 against Prop 1. Folks, this is a BIG deal because Alaska isn’t considered a bastion of liberalism. Sure, Anchorage is bluer than most places but still. Obviously, we are delighted!
Chris Hemsworth’s Beard
This really isn’t news but honestly, it doesn’t need to be because I’ll find any old excuse to blog on Chris Hemsworth. While others here may be obsessed with another Chris’s butt, I’ll stick to my Chris and his facial hair.
Now you owe it to yourself to head on over to Instagram and scope out some of Hemsworth’s most recent pics. What’s interesting is that he seems to be toggling between a goatee, a handlebar mustache, and a full-on beard!
Do you have a preference? Speaking only for myself, I can honestly say I don’t. In other words, it’s not like I would toss the stud out of my bed (or any man for that reason!)
