Check Out The New Fashionista Ken Dolls.

Fashionista Ken Dolls

Mattel, the company that is famous for its Barbie dolls, just made an improvement to her male counterpart.

For years, the doll company has made difference versions of Barbie and even different versions of her boyfriend Ken. There has been Doctor Barbie, Lawyer Barbie, Air Stewardess Barbie, and more.

Then, last year the company came out with new versions of the Barbie doll with different sizes, shapes, hair styles, and skin tones.

Now fans of the doll franchise can buy a Barbie that is tall, curvy, or petite and that has a different color to her skin than the original design.

And now on top of that, it seems that it’s now Ken’s turn for a variety pack upgrade.

That’s right, Mattel just released multiple versions of Ken dolls in broad, slim, and original.

The dolls look like they belong on the streets of a major city like Manhattan and are as diverse as the foot traffic on those streets are. Maybe even more than that.

Now, fans of the doll franchise can buy fashionista Ken dolls in different sizes and skin tones like the Barbie dolls that came before them.

Lisa McKnight, the senior vice president and general manager for the Barbie enterprise said in a statement:

“By continuing to expand our product line, we are redefining what a Barbie or Ken doll looks like to this generation. Evolving Ken was a natural evolution for the brand and allows girls to further personalize the role they want him to play in Barbie’s world.”

Ten of the dolls are now out for sale already, but there are an estimated five more to be released later this year and possibly early next year.

In the mean time, fans can buy the other dolls for about $13 dollars each, and you don’t have to go to specific stores to buy them. You can buy them online on Amazon.

It’s easy, its convenient, its diverse, and it’s a great improvement.
